Herizium medicinal mushroom
The lion's mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) is a medicinal mushroom that is highly valued in traditional Chinese medicine and grows mainly in the forests of Central Asia, but also in Europe and North America.
The lion's mane received this curious name due to its visual appeal, which is characterized by its long, drooping white spines that give the impression of a majestic lion's mane.
It contains hundreds of bioactive components such as beta-glucans, erinacine, ergosterol (provitamin D2) or natural GABA, which make lion's mane a very useful mushroom for health.
Our Lion's Mane extract is certified organic, the mushroom is grown on organic cotton seed husks. Unlike other products that also contain mycelium (the underground part of the mushroom) or fillers, our Hericium extract consists only of the pure fruiting body, collected at its highest quality. We avoid fillers such as starch or grains, thus guaranteeing the purity of the product.
